Having a relationship with Christ does not mean that you haven't endured trauma. We simply have to learn how to become aware of it, acknowledge it, and resolve it. You can break the cycle of “Church Hurt”, allow healing to begin and start necessary conversations. Ministry influences your walk with God and these workshops will enhance how you show up day to day, person to person, etc. Deidre Johnson-Dixon has been co-pastor for Refiner's Fire for 13 years. She is a Wyandotte native and is passionate about unity and healing in her community. Having overcome what some would consider insurmountable challenges, she is determined to not function as a "broken" woman- and fully embraces the immutable fact that she was created to shine like a star and illuminate the light in others. This is a free event for anyone that's on the pastoral staff (ie. overseers, bishops, executive pastors, campus pastors, music pastors, etc.)
