Cycling Workshop with Finish Line and Bike Bakersfield

Description

We've created a custom workshop for anyone to gain confidence in riding safely and understand the basic mechanical skills any customer should know. Talk through biking skills with us, ride with us for maneuvering drills, and apply your knowledge with a group ride featuring the Kern River Parkway. We'll be going over basic bike fit and body positioning, balancing and scanning for traffic, swerving to avoid hazards, and group riding practice. Meet us at Finish Line at 8AM for a morning of fun, learning, and getting to know other cyclists in our community! Workshop ends at 12PM, but the fun doesn't end! We'll have food, music, and open bike stands with our expert mechanics from Finish Line and Bike Bakersfield to answer questions and give you an insider look into best practices for at-home maintenance or give you advice for your next bike shop purchase!
