The Learning Garden presents:The Magic Of IndigoThursday July 28, 202210 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.IN-PERSON DEMONSTRATION Location: NC Cooperative Extension , Buncombe County Center, 49 Mount Carmel Road , Asheville, NC 28806 Presenter: Pat Strang and Joyce Tromba, Extension Master GardenerSM Volunteers This in-person program, held at The Learning Garden, will present how to grow two types of indigo for your dye garden. Attendees will have a hands-on experience collecting plant matter and two methods of dying silk scarves with fresh indigo. If times allows, information on creating an organic indigo dye vat will be offered. Registration: Registration is required. To ensure a good learning experience, attendance will be limited.
