AARP Foundation Experience Corps Pinal – Casa Grande is recruiting volunteers who are interested in tutoring second and third graders in Casa Grande, Coolidge and Stanfield Schools. The City of Casa Grande and AARP are teaming up to help Pinal County students. During the pandemic, the literacy rate for Pinal County third graders dropped down to 25 percent, the lowest it has been in seven years. We're looking for volunteers ages 50 and older to tutor elementary students twice per week during the 2022-23 school year.
