Description

Meditation isn't about "trying to get rid of your thoughts" Have you tried that? Has that ever worked? For someone like me who has/had what some refer to as "monkey mind" or "busy mind", that method just doesn't work for me. I thought I was an impossible case, that there's NO-WAY I could ever meditate and it just wasn't for me. Well, I'm here to tell you, if I can do it, I think you can too! In this Introductory class, I will talk about what "True" Meditation is, and why people are attracted to it. What are some of the known benefits of meditation? - Reduces stress and anxiety - Relieves depression - Relaxes you on all levels - Improves/boosts your self confidence/esteem and mood - Allows clearer mind and perspective for better decision making - Can give you a greater sense of Self, who you truly are vs what your mind tells you, you are - Allows for greater wisdom, inner knowledge and insight to come in If you're interesting in learning more and want to give it a try, please join me for this experience. This meditation will be a mix of guided visualization and music. Total Length of Meditation: approx. 20-30 min.
