TO DONATE DIRECTLY TO COMMUNITY ON THE RISE - click tickets and select the Donation option The BAR Leadership Class of 2022 is proud to host a fundraising event, "Home on the Rise", to raise funds for the purchase of a home for Community on the Rise. COTR is a nonprofit located in downtown Birmingham that exists to fight poverty and homelessness in with innovation. Through various programs-including recycling #5 plastics into beautiful art, jewelry, and more - COTR restores identity to many of our community's homeless and equips them with new IDs and other necessary documents so that they can find sustainable employment and housing. The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® Class of 2022 visited Community on the Rise and fell in love with their work in Birmingham, especially restoring housing to many. The Class of 2022 has chosen to sponsor COTR by raising funds to help them purchase their next home as they continue their wonderful work in Birmingham.
