I created a successful natural oils, supplements and freeze dried food business in 2017. My company is in good standing and has the potential for a great amount of growth. The business is home based and the majority of products are collected from natural plants in the area. I have made cold pressed oils, balms, tinctures and supplements from free, sustainable and natural sources. I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I sell the eggs, freeze dried along with other products on platforms like walmart.com. I need help running this business. I am 61 and partially physically disabled. I have a condition called essential tremor that messes with my hands fine motor skills. I also have COPD, a hernia and some minor back issues. I cannot, on my own, continue to run all aspects of this business. Two years ago my son joined me as a partner. It was my hope at the time that he would eventually take over the business and I would become a silent partner. Living in the country and running a business was not his forte. Running a business takes a certain type of person. This home based business is a lifestyle and there are no time clocks to punch. Ideally, this gig is for someone who loves country living, raising animals and being self reliant. For the most part it is a seasonal business with summer and fall being the busy time. Ideally a couple would be perfect for this lifestyle. Younger, physically active and ready to be the captain of their own ship and be willing to learn. The primary object of my business is earning enough to live comfortable, but frugal, and most importantly, helping others. The products of my labor enrich other lives. I am looking for a couple whom I can mentor, teach all that I know to run this operation, and eventually retire and become a silent partner. As I've already said; I cannot run this by myself and if I cannot find an apprentice, my option will be to liquidate everything and just retire. So what do I have to offer; Room and board with basic necessities while you are being instructed. I will share in the rewards of your labor and effort. I am very down to earth and not greedy. I will teach you all the facets of the companies sales platforms, processes used to make products, locations of raw materials, how to use the equipment and tools, even how to raise and process chickens. What would I expect from you; honesty, good work ethic, a desire to learn new things, a desire to be self sufficient, an entrepreneurial spirit and a good since of humor.
