Pedal steel guitar player looking for country western band to play with. I've been gigging and recording post-covid, but latest band broke up due to members moving. Gigging band is preferred, but I'm open to working with new bands if it's the right fit. I'm into playing lots of styles and genres; prefer the honky-tonk stuff, classic country, 80's-90's country, Cajun/Zydeco, Tejano/TexMex, slow stuff, super fast stuff, Hank, Willie, Waylon, Buck, Patsy, Dolly, Tammy, Loretta, Emmylou, Parsons, Strait, Jackson, Dwight, Sturgill, etc. etc. I'm mid-30's and have a full-time job, so I'm looking for fellow musicians who are young, talented, ambitious, and have only so much time in the day. Long way of saying let's drink beer, line up shows, play some good music, get folks dancing, write some originals, and make something of it. I'm not concerned with getting paid, but it would be nice to line up some fun gigs that'll pay for drinks and gas. I'm located in Santa Barbara, but can travel to Ventura/Ojai or Santa Ynez regularly, or up to Santa Maria, SLO, or LA if the opportunity is right. Shoot me an email if interested.
