Description
FinisherPix is looking for two paid video assistants to work the Ironman 70.3 Oregon triathlon in Salem on Sunday, July 10, at Riverfront City Park. Hours are approximately 5a until between 1p and 2p. Pay is $15 an hour and will be paid by check in 30 days. There are no exceptions on pay.
The job will consist of watching one or more GoPro cameras placed at different locations on the course and ensuring that they don't 1. walk away; 2. get knocked over; 3. stop recording; or 4. have anyone in front of them blocking the camera's view, INCLUDING YOURSELF.
That's it: sit BEHIND the cameras and watch them! This is NOT a production position. No experience nor heavy lifting is required and only minor walking is involved.
You will need to be at Riverfront City Park at 5a race morning. I won't know the exact time your assignment is over but it will be no later than 2p. On race day bring a small camping chair and your iPod or a book to pass the time. Or, if you feel so inclined, bring a cowbell and cheer on the athletes.
If interested, from your cell phone TEXT ME your full name, email address, and shirt size. Yes, that's a test to see if you can follow directions.
Thanks,
Mike
