The Siskiyou Opportunity Center is looking for individuals to work at our Rest Areas. We have full time and part time positions. Fulltime shifts are Saturday- Wednesday. Shifts worked on weekdays pay $16.50 to start. Weekend and holiday pay is $20.00hr. Our Grass Lake Rest Area pays $25.00hr for a 4 hour shift for total of $100 per shift. There are two shifts. 7:15-11:15 and 1:15 - 5:15, 7 days a week. The work is not hard or complicated. Rest areas operate 365 days a year so shifts open up frequently. If you are interested in just a few days or be on call, we can discuss options. Rest area duties are pretty standard. Cleaning the restrooms, emptying trash cans, some mowing, light raking, and light weeding. During the weekdays at the rest areas you would be supervising our developmentally disabled. You must be comfortable working with and supervising our disabled workers.
