WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER – ALBANY Title: Warehouse Operations Manager Location: Albany, OR Cougar Construction, Inc., located in Albany, OR is seeking a multi-discipline, self-motivated, and highly organized Warehouse Operations Manager to control Cougar’s shop and warehouse resources in support of field crews. This position will encompass a wide area of duties pertaining to the Albany corporate facilities to include controlling and issuing tooling, material, and equipment resources. Additional duties will include minor vehicle maintenance, scheduling activities with outside vendors, equipment deliveries to project sites, wooden form fabrication for concrete foundations, and facilities maintenance. This position will work closely with Cougar’s field construction crews throughout the northwest and report directly to the General Manager and President. Experience Required: • Experienced in a warehouse environment; • Proficient computer skills with the knowledge of inventory software; • MUST HAVE Class A CDL License with current DOT medical card and the ability to legally operate CDL vehicles intrastate; • Clean driving record; • Ability to operate several types of vehicles, to include forklift; • Mechanical aptitude/mechanical skills; • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively; • Willingness to help with any given task; • Ability to work without direct supervision and independently stay on task; • Ability to follow directions; • Ability to regularly work with the ability to work possible overtime and weekend work when required; • Ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner. • Able to lift 50lbs. • Ability to organize and multi-task; and • Welding experience is a plus. Job Duties include: • Equipment Management: o Record keeping of equipment locations and relocating from job to job. o Record keeping of equipment hours and maintenance schedules. o Scheduling equipment repairs with third parties and field crews. o Coordinating rental equipment and deliveries to jobsites. • Shop Management o Maintain shop and yard inventories. o Order and restock of needed inventories. o Clean and organize shop and yard. o Maintain shop and yard security. • Transportation o Load trailers with material or equipment and transport to jobsite via crews, self, or third-party halers o Driving CDL type vehicles to/from jobsites • Material and Form Work o Pull forms, lumber, bolt templates, etc. needed for jobsites. o Miscellaneous form building o Pull conduits, sweeps, copper, etc. and bundle as needed for jobsites. • Other Duties o Parts/Material runner. Order and pick up at vendors. o Periodic work on jobsites with field crews if qualified. o Willingness to stay away from home, overnight on a periodic basis. o Communicate daily with field crews and corporate office as to material needs, equipment demands, and anything required to assist field operations. o Other duties as assigned to support the company operations.
