Memory Front’s guitar player is departing amicably and moving away in early September. We play shows regularly and want to get back at it with a replacement ASAP. The current guitar player will wrap up live shows in mid August, and then we will transition to studio work. As such, this is an ideal time for someone to step in and develop/learn parts to minimize down time. Additional rehearsals or anything else that is needed to get a replacement up to speed are no problem at all. The priority is getting an excellent replacement up to speed immediately. This is a very serious project and it wouldn’t work well if there wasn’t a very strong commitment, so please factor that in. Our website (at the bottom) has our music. Just send along/confirm you have these things: -Samples of your playing in previous projects -On stage experience -Reliable transportation -Willingness to practice 2x a week (around 2 hrs per practice right in the middle of the East End) -Ability to dedicate as much time as possible to getting things tight so we can jump back in ASAP -We are in our 30s and we’d like to keep the age range pretty consistent -Tour experience and local connections are a huge plus.
