Sosa is almost 3 yrs old, although her exact age is unknown. She is a chihuahua/pug mix. She is UTD on shots,only needs rabies vaccine. She is spayed. We are having to rehome her due to not being able to meet her needs and due to financial reasons. her rehoming fee is $150. Before thinking of getting her PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND; she is a "special needs" dog. She is on a specific wet food diet because she has a severe underbite, therefore she cannot manage to eat dry food at all. She is extremely under-socialized with both humans and other dogs, so she must be the only dog in the home! She does well with children over 10 yrs old. She is spooked very easily by loud noises and swift movements and she does have a tendency to bark when she hears noises. You must be very gentle with her and be patient. She does get snappy with other dogs, hence why she should be the only pet in the home, she also has a very high prey drive. She knows sit, but needs work on stay and leave it. She knows "out of the kitchen" too. She is crate trained and potty trained, although she does have accidents if you are not quick about letting her outside. She does mostly well on leash but tends to pull at times and chase critters if she sees them. She cannot be off-leash for any reason. One of her favorite things in the world is cooked chicken! she absolutely goes crazy for it, so that is one way to earn her trust. Sosa is a very smart and sweet dog if you know how to work with her! She would do absolutely well with someone that goes on short hikes, runs, or lengthy walks but she can also be a snuggle pup that will lay with you on the couch and have a lazy day.
