We are currently seeking a Glass Installation Technician to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI! We offer competitive compensation and benefits including: • Company Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off • Health Insurance • Competitive, Skills-Based Pay Program Job Summary: Our Glass Installation Technician will be responsible for assisting the Lead Technician with the proper installation of our unique product. They will measure and fit custom glass panels, hinges, and other hardware for a variety of tiled and fiberglass openings to ensure a high-quality fit and finish. Attention to detail is a must as the quality of the finished product is most important to our customers! Some job tasks will include: • Drilling tile, marble, granite, and other stone based materials to mount various required hardware. • Cutting all metals, hangars, and understand functions of all hardware • Maintain tools and truck inventory for maximum efficiency We are looking for: • Career minded individuals who are willing to learn and enjoy working with others • Strong communication skills • A professional positive attitude • Dedicated and takes initiative • Basic math skills with a knowledge of fractions and measuring (test given at time of interview) • Knowledge and experience with basic hand tools and power tools preferred, but not required • Capable of improvising to best solution fits of glass and hardware • Ability to lift up to 100lbs (required) Background check and drug test will be completed upon hire.
