Description

Male and female Red Eared Slider turtles looking for a new home. I was told approx 6-8 years old when I adopted them. They were originally adopted from the Humane Society by a woman who understandably decided they were too much to care for. I myself am able now; however, my grandfather needs to come live with us and feel it is the optimal time to find the perfect, permanent home for them. The female is the larger and friendlier one. She's a fantastic eater and not shy at all. The male is a little shy and a bit pickier, but both are friendly and handleable. I bought them A LOT!!! and I am not asking for that money back. What I am looking for is someone that will take the time to tell me about their situation and how these two will be taken care of permanently. I did a lot of research to make sure I took care of them properly. You see these guys everywhere and think they are easy to take care of, Right? well, I didn't know you couldn't just feed them on dry land. they literally have to eat in water because they only produce saliva in water! So I want someone that is either already knowledgeable about their diet and set up or that is going to be willing to learn and I will help with what they are currently doing. They are no small commitment and need a lot of care! Here is what all they come with: 55 gallon tank and stand -cleaned and ready to go! 2 power filters Thrive Bask and Swim Turtle Home ( a second home) Dome light and Filter for the second home Thrive Turtle Elevated Basking Loft to use with both homes Food Turtle dock I am located near Voyager and Northgate. You will need to pick up. Literally everything was over $400 and I'm asking $75! no phone calls, text only please. if you need a call back, I can do that!
