Volunteers needed for Scientific Study - Improve your EQ

Do you have a smart phone? Are you free the week of July 25 - 29 to respond to three text messages that ask you how you feel? Then we need your help! We're trying to gather 500 participants that can help us scientifically validate EMOJI as an expression of emotion. We are an Austin-based tech start-up conducting this study in collaboration with a professor advisor at Edge Hill University in England. LEARN MORE AND SIGN UP HERE: https://mindfulappy.com/study-recruiting What the study is about This study aims to understand if Unicode emoji can be used as a valid measure of current mood (positive and negative affect). Essentially, we seek to understand whether emoji can be used as a quick measure of gathering data about emotional state. This is particularly important in contexts such as remote working or in managing remote teams in which employees’ well-being may be less obvious. We will use experience sampling methodology to obtain measurements of affect “in the moment” by asking participants to rate the extent to which a series of 20 emoji represent their current mood.
