Mitigation Manager-ESD Beacon Restoration & Cleaning is a Restoration Industry start up focused on simplification, communication, and urgency. Our mission is to help businesses recover from flood and fire damage with a commonsense approach. If you want to make decisions, partner with service vendors, and work with a GREAT team, Beacon is for you. We are adding to our team due to growth and a passion for service. The mitigation managers provide emergency services onsite at our client’s locations 24-7. Those services include responding to water, fire, and man-made damage. This position is considered a management position and will be required to manage and mentor lead technicians and general laborers. Essential Responsibilities Response and provide services to work orders within a 4-hour radius of Detroit area (Some overnight travel is required when needed) Manage and mentor water lead technicians and general laborers Provide extraction, disinfecting and cleaning services Measure, photo document, and detail work order services Update our clients on every work order, every day Travel as part of the Beacon Restoration and Cleaning Catastrophe team during surge events (hurricanes, tornado, etc…) Assist in customer service On call 24/7 Activity Build a team to provide services within a 4-hour radius of our South East Michigan location. Build a vendor list of support elements to improve response capacity Provide services in response to work orders as a team leader Monitor and review ongoing work orders and requests Respond to urgent calls Communicate in real time Collect and communicate job site data Review and audit labor hours for payroll Qualifications Familiarity with water damage claims and emergency service Willingness to think outside of the box Ability to use Microsoft office, drop box, and Iphone Clean criminal background and driver’s license record IICRC Certifications are a plus Skills Ability to use Text and iPhone Understanding of Microsoft office Construction knowledge Understanding of extraction tools, dry out equipment, and proper dry out techiniques
