Work involves the following: Communication with team leader using chat on phones. Receive field survey kit from team leader. Visit building, gain access based on guidance, fill out inspection form with building type, building materials, wall thicknesses and photos of the electric panels and other building features. Some visits may require access to the roof. When on roof, fill out Roof Survey Form with Roof material information, condition and photos of the roof. Fill out HVAC Survey Form with HVAC unit(s) information, condition and photos of each unit. Take Photographs of Exterior of the Building, Site and Roof, Interior: floor to eye level, eye level to ceiling and above ceiling where lay-in ceiling exists. Photos will later be compressed and submitted in a ZIP file. Photos are numbered as taken and are tagged to the roof sketches and floor plan sketches with photo bubbles. Measure all aspects of the building and mark them on the drawings using decimal feet notation. During your site visit take photos and measurements to 5.0 feet beyond the building on all sides and to 5.0 feet beyond the edge of the sidewalk on the front of the building. If you are interested, this work can continue on an on-going basis and would require travel around the U.S. South.
