Sherman TX

Description

We have a young, male, Great Pyrenees mix named "Waffles" who desperately needs a home. We are moving on Friday and can't take him with us. We tried the Sherman Animal Shelter, and they disclosed that he would have to be euthanized if we surrendered him. We have been trying to re-home him since about February of this year, Pet Finder, Adopt a Pet, TGPR, and all the other online rescues we could find - everything is full. About "Waffles" -Very Large - about 90 pounds, Neutered, Rabies Vaccine -Born on 12/14/2020 - his is about 1 1/2 years old -Half Great Pyrenees (short hair, but white like a Pyr) -Crate trained (crate will be included, his leash, etc.) -Sweet and playful (intimidating at initial meeting because of his deep bark, but he's never shown aggression) -Needs a home with a fenced yard - or he will run off -Loves other dogs, cats, and children (we have a two and six year old, two cats, and another dog) -He is a great perimeter security dog (like all pyrenees) -No fee to take him If you know anyone who knows anyone that could help, please reach out.
