Musician/Singer Wanting to Start Beach Boys Cover Band

Well, lookie here. You've clicked on my little ad expecting something grand. Don't worry, this ad is profound. I'm here looking for other singers/musicians to start a band with. I've been toying with the idea of starting a Beach Boys' cover band. Hear me out. For those who may not know, the Beach Boys were much more than just "Little Deuce Coup" and "Surfin Safari." They were really quite introspective and clever song-smiths. Think "God Only Knows," "Good Vibrations" and "Do it Again," just to name three. Any road, I thought it would be a fun challenge to get together with some cool chaps and learn all those intricate harmonies. I play bass, rhythm guitar and keyboards. I would probably be best suited to sing Mike Love's parts, as his vocal range best fits my own. It would be a definite plus if you play an instrument, as well. I would love to get several songs tight and do some live shows. Cha-CHING!! I live in Plano, and willing to travel within reason. Or I can host rehearsals.
