My name is Will and I am a multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer and dub producer living in my hometown of Morrisville, New York. I am a roots reggae & dub artist looking to form a band. I am a drummer primarily but would also play rhythm guitar or bass. Currently there is a guitar player on board and myself. So if you love reggae and dub music and you play bass, guitar, keyboards (need to know the bubble!), percussion, sax, trumpet and/or trombone in the greater Syracuse or Utica area and this post calls to you please get ahold of me! My vision is to form a group in the spirit of Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, John Brown's Body, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Clinton Fearon, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Freddie McGreggor, Toots and the Maytals, Scratch Perry, and so on. I am envisioning weekly rehearsals (I’ve got a nice practice space), playing shows, recording albums and touring. We can play originals, covers, and a mix of both. One drop, rub a rub, steppers, rockers, lovers rock, and dub style. Looking to bring the heavy roots and dub sound to central NY. I also have all the gear needed to record an album as well as connections to venues and recording studios for gigs and recording.
