Urgent Rehoming - male Australian Shepherd

This is “Rooroo”, he is a male, blue-merle Australian Shepherd. He is standard-size but on the smaller end, he weighs maybe 50lbs. Vet says he is a perfect weight & he is in great health. He is a high-energy, high prey-drive dog who would do best as an only dog with no Cats or smaller animals around. He is around 1.5 or near 2 years old now, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is fence-reactive and agile—he is capable of jumping 3ft to 4ft fences and will. He does give warnings but does NOT do good with other neutered male dogs (he has done fine with intact male dogs and I am not sure why he does not handle other neutered male dogs). Unfortunately, a member of the household has Cancer and we cannot handle Rooroo’s needs anymore, especially with his growing issue with neutered male dogs. Rooroo greatly enjoys playing fetch and will play fetch with you all day long. He knows “sit”, “paw”, “lay-down” and has been working on “stay”. Tentatively knows “touch” (touch his nose to your palm). Rooroo is food-motivated, toy-motivated and very smart. He is crate-trained and does best being crated at night. He does not bother you when you’re eating & has not shown himself to be destructive. Asking a small rehoming fee—will come with crate, a few toys & some food.
