Drummer Wanted for Progressive Hard Rock Band

Original progressive Hard Rock band looking for drummer. We released our debut record just before the pandemic and have been playing live shows and writing new material since. Live we play our originals and mix in a few choice covers. We write collectively so new drummer will have full creative input on new material. We started writing the 2nd record and our drummer recently moved across the country so we need to replace him ASAP. Really good bunch of guys who are all high level players, reliable, professional, super cool and chill, and all have top notch gear and tons of live and studio experience - so we seek a drummer along similar lines. We have a killer time together and work hard together getting our music super tight and presenting a killer live show. Drummer needs to be proficient at off time signatures and tempo changes as we mix it up quite a bit. Lot of dynamics in our music also and plenty of room to get creative. We do have a few tunes in 4/4, but many songs mix in parts in various time signatures like 3/4, 7/8, 5/4, and others. We like to write music that takes listeners on a journey - music they can really sink their teeth into. We have many influences including Tool, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Rush, and many more. Please have reliable transportation, top notch gear, ability to rehearse once a week and gig once or twice a month. We rehearse in Carlsbad and also at times also down in San Diego. We need someone that we can get up to speed quick and start playing shows when ready.
