We have an immediate opening for a skilled Irrigation Technician, our yard is located near Power & Elliott in Mesa, Arizona RESPONSIBILITIES - Diagnose irrigation systems and identify problems - Repair and trace existing irrigation systems - Install and/or replace irrigation systems & parts - Prepare necessary maps, reports, and records - Desire to conserve water while maintaining a beautiful landscape - Manage inventory of parts & tools while performing job duties - Perform other duties as required by business need or weather - Maintains safe working conditions on job site at all times - Real time problem solving JOB HAZARDS - Heavy lifting in excess of 50 lbs - Strenuous activity such as excessive bending and/or kneeling - Working in Arizona desert heat where temperatures reach into 120 degrees KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Technical knowledge on utilizing specialized equipment for diagnosing issues in Irrigation - Technical knowledge on sprinkler systems - Knowledge on how to install, operate, troubleshoot, & repair manual and computerized irrigation systems - Proper pipe fitting and sizing - Knowledge on valve repairs - Knowledge on controller issues and solutions MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS - English speaking - Bilingual in Spanish preferred - Valid Arizona Drivers license with clean MVR - Minimum 2 years experience with irrigation systems - Must have transportation to and from yard - Must be able to work and communicate with others BENEFITS - Paid Vacation - Paid Holiday - $500 Bonus after 90 days - Overtime SCHEDULE - This position is Monday through Friday, start time and end time adjust with season - As early as 5:30 AM - Saturday overtime is offered as optional, sometimes required as designated by management If interested, please call 480-381-8564
