Description
This is dog's name is, pronounced clo-e. I hear she is on record of biting someone. Her owners moved to North Dakota where pit bulls are forbidden by law. The owners had no other options but to take it to the shelter. I'm to understand that because of that record she would be put down. Upon hearing this I stepped in. I however am not settled well enough and it has been a challenging week. So far I've given Chloe no less than 5 walks per day, a few car rides, a couple trips to parks and rivers. I believe Chloe was not getting this type of adventure before. Mostly she was tied to a post in the yard when outside and spent a lot of time inside. Within the first 40 hours of me taking care of her she shit 7 big ones. I thought at first she looked fat on the body with a small head. Not the case. She was just bloated with shit. She needed proper walks. She is looking so good. Chloe is so thankful. I believe any behavioral issues with any dog can be solved with regular walks and exercise. They need to be out smelling and hearing stuff to figure what's going on in the neighborhood. Also if I were tied up all day and couldn't get a proper shit I'd bite someone too... She's met about a dozen people in her same home that we are fixing 0back up. Anyone who has made an attempt to get on her good side has succeeded. The one person that has refused to make the effort she has growled and huffed at. Chloe is a great dog. I know for a fact she is redeemable and will be no issue for someone who can invest their time. As long as she can get many walks or can live on large property she will thrive. It's tough to say she will get along with all other dogs but I heard she is good with other dogs. She will definitely chase all cats. I wouldn't risk having her around small children younger than 10. Chloe is truly remarkable. The pictures don't do her justice. Please come by soon to meet her. I can't keep her much longer. I would say two 20 minute walks a day with a fenced yard and some indoor access would be about the minimum she would need. Oh and a lot of love.
