Vicki Casciola, a Las Vegas native, began her love affair with hair at the early age of 10. She earned her cosmetology license before graduating high school and became a sought-after hairstylist at a very young age. She has been changing the hair game, one head at a time, ever since. Vicki, a.k.a. the HairGypsy, always preaches, “if we were meant to stay in one place we would have roots instead of feet!” She has flowed effortlessly from behind the chair to the runway and beyond for the last 20 years. Vicki divides her time between Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, and internationally. A celebrity hairstylist, global artistic director for Hairtalk extensions, platform artist, senior master educator, and product development are a few of the roles she is known for. When Vicki is not behind the chair she is known to work with celebrities such as Jordan Knight, Paula Abdul, Mercedes Javid, Bella Hadid, Anne Winters, Antonio Sabato Jr., Josie Conseco, Naomi Grossman, Katherine Narducci to name a few. Vicki is called upon for her transformational talent and beauty expertise for events such as Victoria’s Secret fashion show, Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG Awards, New York Fashion Week, Paris fashion week, and Milan fashion week. On paper I'm an award winning, hair extensions expert featured in Modern Salon magazine, American Salon Magazine and more, but I truly believe accolades are just the beautiful cherry on top of a life lived with passion. As an educator, my passion for helping artists and sharing my skills has been the driving force of my career. I feel most myself when I'm teaching others, passing along the simple techniques that have helped me gain confidence and become the stylist I am today. Education is dedication- dedication not only to the art of hair cutting but to learning something from every experience and continuously finding new outlets for creativity.
