The Alexander Black House is hosting its first summer music series and each month will feature a different musician or group. Feel free to bring snacks or a picnic and come enjoy listening to each talented artist. Sunset Rhythm's July concert will feature duo Eric+Addie. "With their low key folk feel, a drive of bluegrass behind it, and the smooth melodies of blues, these two are sure to play something that connects with every member of the audience" (ericplusaddie.com) Spoons Shaved Ice will also be serving up some yummy treats for purchase. Sunset Rhythms will conclude in August with Soul Folk musician Kat Mills . "Kat Mills is a singer-songwriter, wife, mother, and community volunteer based right here in Blacksburg and known throughout the region for her down-to-earth style and powerful voice. With a vintage guitar, throwback threads, and soulful original songs, Kat Mills reminds you of another time--but her work is for the here and now." (www.katmills.com) Lil' Bit Corny Popcorn will also be serving up treats for purchase as well.
