The Monteith House in Albany, Oregon is hosting another Living History Saturday event. Come join us while we learn how to make a simple kite that you can take home and fly when the summer breezes come! All ages are welcome. A parent or guardian must stay with any children in attendance, but only those making kites need to reserve a ticket. All supplies will be provided for your $5.00 donation. The Monteith House is Albany's first wood frame home, the most authentically restored pioneer era home in Oregon, and an important part of Willamette Valley history. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
