The applicant must be familiar with the various plants and reading a landscape plan. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as with a team and may sometimes require overtime. You must be available to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays, especially during the "busy season". We do prefer 2 years of experience, however we will train with equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully learn to perform the duties listed below. Primary Responsibilities: • Install landscaping (trees, shrubs, mulch, edging, etc.) • Read a landscape plan and lay out job • Complete scheduled jobs on a daily basis • Report and/or handle customer complaints • Maintain good work habits • Work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results • Perform other related duties as required Skills Required: • Running machinery (Skidsteer, Mini Dingo, Rented Equipment) • Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine solutions • Use hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner • Understand and follow oral and written instructions • Work independently and in team situations • Communicate and effectively interact with customers in a positive way • Bending, kneeling and digging are required DRIVERS LICENSE IS PREFERRED Compensation: $18-$25 - Paid vacation after one year of employment - Paid major holidays after 90 days of employment
