The First Annual Shelf Life Local Lit Fest is happening on Saturday August 6th from noon to 4pm!The local authors at Shelf Life will be there selling and signing their books! This is a perfect time to meet or discover, and support your favorite local authors all in one place! There will be children’s books readings from two local authors, Michael Haase and Megan Higgins reading their popular local books “School of Fish” and “My Super Special Magic Shoes”! Local book clubs will be there for readers looking for a club to join! Local author Jim Woods will be there signing his book as well as offering coaching information from Write, Publish, Share! Local author Mark Morelli will be offering up his famous Haikus on the spot as well as signing his books! Local artist Melissa Anderson will be there with her beautiful and cherished artwork! Local author Olive Persimmon will have a letter writing station and offering public speaking coaching info! The Gourmet Popper and Kind Cakes will be offering some delicious treats for the afternoon!
