Life on the farm in the summer is so abundantly beautiful. And sometimes as farmers, we can lose sight of this when the hours are long & hot. But we also know that whenever someone comes to the farm, they bring a new set of eyes with different perspective. We welcome and respect that new perspective... it's like a breath of fresh air. Will you join us for an evening winding down on the farm? We'll have some projects waiting for those who come ready to get dirty (trust us, it's a great way to decompress after a day on the computer). You'll also be welcome to take a walk around the farm, grab a cold drink, and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of nature. And the best part? You'll meet folks in your community who don't mind getting their hands dirty to support their community. Please wear protective clothing/shoes. Myrtle Woods is an 8.8 acre farm in the Lawyers Hill Historic District in Elkridge Maryland. Their local, organically grown produce can be found on menus at Rathskeller, Elkridge Furnace Inn, Pure Wine Cafe, and more!
