In this extremely fun class, you will learn how to create your very own abstract masterpieces with acrylic pouring techniques. Acrylic pouring is an easy to learn process using fluid medium to create paintings with rich vibrant colors in compelling organic patterns. Great for those who are new to acrylic painting as well as more experienced artist. No paintbrush required! In this class we will be making a 10 x 10 canvas pour using techniques taught by Samantha Zarek, local artist. Acrylic flow art can take anywhere from 8 to 24 hours or more to hours to dry (depending on size of painting) and 3 weeks to cure. It is not advised to move the paintings before they are dry since they are still very fluid. You will be provided the option to leave your canvas until Tuesday, July 19th, for it to dry. All supplies included the only thing we ask you to wear clothes that you don't mind getting some paint on and to bring is a smile and a positive attitude. (no smocks or aprons provided)
