After a successful first summer in the Park, Afro-Caribbean dance led by Batingua Arts is back for the 2022 season, bringing energy and excitement to our waterfront each and every Tuesday. This simultaneously traditional yet evolving Afro-Caribbean art celebrates cultural preservation with dance, speaking to all audiences with a variety of disciplines, from jazz and reggae to samba, spoken word and even acrobatics. These breathtaking NYC artists will electrify the audience with their high-energy, mesmerizing performances right on the Hudson River. Join Batingua Arts instructors as they teach group lessons under the setting sun. Each outdoor class will be accompanied by live musicians; you don’t want to miss out on all fun!
