Description

Hi friends! 😄 Welcome to DFW Young & Social, a growing community for people ages 25-40 who want to try out new activities while building connections! I'm excited to announce our second progressive Salsa class, in preparation for our outing to the Vitruvian Salsa Festival! (Stay tuned in the next few days for that post!) Fast-paced, flirty, fun, and danceable to hundreds of today's top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket! This 1 hr class will review what we learned last time, and then move on to brand new material. If you've never danced Salsa before, or if you don't feel confident about your steps yet, don't worry—while I review last week's material, Marco will go over the basics with you, so you're ready to join in with everyone else for the new steps! However, jump in now if you want to build your foundation—because we will keep getting more advanced as we go! 😄💃 Important Info: Class length: 1 hour Cost: $12 per person, cash or Venmo Venmo details: https://venmo.com/code?user_id=3530041673647193763 @youngandsocial 7:45-8:00 pm: Check-in inside the lobby! 8:00-9:00: Salsa lesson! :) What to Wear: Clothing: There's no formal dress code, but wear something you feel comfortable moving in! Women often wear blouses and jeans, or dresses (if the skirt flares, or is extra short, I recommend shorts underneath!) Men often wear t-shirts and jeans, or button-downs and slacks. Dress up if you like, no pressure if you don't! Shoes: Smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option. Women often wear heels; however, unless it has an ankle strap, I wouldn't recommend it. Avoid: Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
