PATH Week is an annual celebration of PATH’s mission and work in the East Texas community. Each year we highlight stories that reflect our core values of hope, empowerment and respect. The PATH Week Celebration Dinner serves as our signature fundraising event to help us raise both awareness and funds to support our homelessness prevention efforts.
This year PATH is excited to announce that Bob Goff will be joining us as our featured keynote speaker. Who is Bob, you may ask? Bob spent decades as an attorney, trying to figure out how to live a whimsical, impactful life. These days, he calls himself a “recovering lawyer” because after practicing law for 25 years, then becoming the Honorary Consul to Uganda, he gave up his law firm to pursue writing and speaking full time. He’s a New York Times bestselling author many times over, runs a popular weekly podcast, and recently turned farmer at The Oaks just outside San Diego, California. Bob has joined us previously at the 2018 PATH Week Celebration Luncheon and in January 2020 at Flint Baptist Church. Always insightful and inspiring, you won’t want to miss this special presentation.
