RESUME WRITING WORKSHOP! Does your resume need an update - or do you need to create your first resume? Uprising Bakery Cafe will be hosting a resume writing workshop for anyone interested in learning more about this important life skill. Everything from getting started with your very first resume to specific questions about how to highlight your accomplishments will be touched on during this event! You are welcome to bring your current resume along (whether hard copy or on a device) so that you can take notes or edit during the workshop. If you don't have one that's fine too - we will discuss how to get started! The workshop will be lead by Amy Rath, a Crystal Lake resident with over 15 years of experience reading / writing / improving resumes, both as a job search consultant and hiring manager. Amy has worked with all types of resumes, from high school students to senior executives. Don't be shy - most of us will need a resume at least once in our lives, and Amy loves to share what she's learned to make resume writing easier for others!
