Jesus Bautista is an unknown hero in the Philippines. He was the Governor of Laguna during the Japanese occupation of the country in World War 2. Laguna became one of the safest provinces during the war because of his leadership. He saved thousands of lives during the war and continued to help thousands more during his over forty years of service in the government.
This gala is to celebrate Jesus and the Philippine culture. And not only do we have his autobiography, but we also have a finished script based on his life story. With numerous people working to make Jesus's story, we ask for your support in participating in this event. I have multiple producers already helping me, but we need more because I want to be able to appropriately and respectfully present the Filipino culture and story during the war. All the comments I've received from known production companies are that despite how excellent and uplifting Jesus's story is, they're unsure if a Filipino story will sell worldwide. So I want to prove it. I want to show everyone that a Filipino story will sell, so I need your support. Please join us, talk with us, and help me present the epic of a poor and generous Filipino man who rose and became an essential leader in his nation due to his genuine love for his country.
