Here is a summary of findings from Tuesday state reports on COVID-19 in the 10-county Northeast Health District, which includes Oconee, Clarke and surrounding counties. The Northeast Health District added 779 new cases of COVID-19, a record number for the District.Oconee County added 113 new cases and Clarke County added 126.The District added four deaths, one in Barrow, one in Jackson, two in Walton counties.Area long-term care facilities reported 14 new cases among residents and 13 new cases among staff.The number of patients at area hospitals with COVID-19 is 233, the most ever reported.For details of the reports released by the state on Tuesday, please go to Oconee County Observations.
