In this live class you will be learning the Usui System of Reiki for Shoden (Reiki 1). What is Reiki? Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. What does Shoden mean? Shoden is a Japanese word meaning 'first teachings'. It is the first level of teachings in the traditional Japanese branch of Reiki called Usui Reiki Ryoho. If you are unvaccinated for Covid you will need to wear a mask and if vaccinated please bring proof of vaccination so you will not be required to wear a mask. As a Reiki Master/Teacher (RMT), I will be teaching from three different Reiki Lineages, as taught to me from my master. Most RMT's only have a single lineage they teach from, which I believe gives me a unique teaching perspective. The total cost of the class is $100 and will include a book, class packet, certificate, attunement and breakfast, however, you will need to bring lunch money or a bag lunch. There is limited seating of only 5 seats and a $30 deposit to reserve your seat, order your book and will be included in your total costs but is nonrefundable. $70 will need be paid before the beginning of the class via either cash or Cash App.
