Attracting and Growing Talent for Economic Success Maddin Hutto serves as Director of Public Relations/Talent Liaison for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 74-year-old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine. It is also the chamber of commerce for Tupelo. Maddin oversees all external communications and acts as the media contact for CDF. She collaborates with other team members on marketing strategies and deliverables. Maddin also spearheads CDF’s talent attraction initiative, serving as a talent liaison between local employers and university and college career centers in the region, and operates the Tupelo Young Professionals program. Maddin is passionate about fostering the quality of life in Tupelo in hopes of attracting and retaining young professionals and families in the community. Maddin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Clemson University in 2010. In her former life prior to having two young children who keep her very busy, she enjoyed traveling, flower arranging, and reading. Originally from Nashville, she has resided in Tupelo for the last seven years with her husband Hank, sons Henry (two years) and Brooks (five months), and dogs Harper and Hudson.
