We are a San Francisco based chandelier cleaning company in business for eighteen years, and we are looking for the right individual(s) to join our crew. We strive for perfection, take great pride in our work and specialize in excellent customer service. Our job locations vary and include both residential and commercial properties located throughout the Bay Area. This is a unique and exciting Part-Time position. The ideal candidate is someone with a meticulous attention to detail; a creative problem solver who enjoys working with their hands and is able to follow instructions. Our service focuses on chandeliers, high end light fixtures and lighted art installations. The work includes cleaning, assembly and minor repairs. If you enjoy production type work, cleaning, assembly and/or repetitive work, this position would be a good fit. This job can be physically demanding, and some might consider it monotonous or tedious at times. The right person may find the position creatively challenging, rewarding and meditative. Your duties will include but are not limited to loading equipment in and out of site-specific locations, setting up the work area, scrubbing and polishing crystals and dis-assembling/re-assembling chandeliers and light fixtures. You need to be available for Part-Time work from January – September on Monday – Thursday and during our busy season of October – December on Monday - Friday. Our work is unpredictable*, the work schedule changes weekly, and locations may change daily so a candidate must be able to get themselves to job sites throughout the Bay Area. You must also be comfortable working in locations with fine interiors, art and antiques. Our crew is typically comprised of people from a variety of backgrounds who enjoy working with their hands, are creative, motivated, punctual and looking for a unique and interesting job. Artists, sculptors, craftspeople, skilled tradespeople, glass blowers and jewelers are typically a good fit. But anyone who is detail oriented, can follow instructions and enjoys working on delicate and intricate objects in a variety of different locations would be a good fit. * IMPORTANT: This is a Part-Time at-will employee position, and we cannot guarantee the exact number of hours you will work per day or per week or per month. The schedule fluctuates based on your availability as well as the needs of the jobs. This type of Part-Time position does not work for everyone so if you need to have a confirmed number of hours per week and/or per month, this is not the right job for you. There are times when more work is available and other times when less work is available. **COVID UPDATES: Proof of full vaccination including booster vaccination is required. Title: • Chandelier Cleaner Duties: • Meticulously clean chandeliers and light fixtures • Use tools and work with your hands • Carry supplies in and out of the job site • Set up the work area and move furniture as necessary Job Requirements: • Proof of Covid vaccinations including Boosters • Able to work legally in the United States • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Able to do repetitive motions for long periods of time • Able to stand on a ladder, scaffold or scissor lift for numerous hours at a time • Able to work under deadlines and in stressful situations • Able to manage time and complete tasks in an efficient manner • Able to commute throughout the entire Bay Area • Have a flexible schedule Description: • Part-Time Position • No experience necessary, will train • Competitive wages • Work in different locations throughout the entire Bay Area Desirable Qualifications: • Have a car, valid driver's license, and proof of vehicle insurance. While having a car or driver's license is not a requirement, it can be beneficial to be able to commute to our various job sites throughout the Bay Area and/or drive our company vehicles. • Knowledge of or interest in chandeliers, light fixtures, art, antiques, interior design and/or prior experience working in an art/contractor/trade industry and/or working in high-end homes and high-end interiors. Compensation: • Starting wages: $30 per hour - with opportunities for advancement.
