Meet Magic, She is a spunky and hilarious 2-year-old min pin mix who is looking for her forever people. Magic will undoubtedly be a cherished addition to the right family. Before joining our rescue, she spent most, if not all, of her life confined to a backyard. She had very little exposure to new people and environments. We have worked hard to show her the world is a fun place, but Magic still deals with a fair amount of fear when outside of her comfort zone. She can be quite barky when on edge. It can take her some time to warm up to new people and she does get spooked by loud, chaotic, or busy environments. She has a clear preference for women but will warm up to men who remain patient and gentle with her. When Magic is in her element she completely blossoms. She is energetic, playful, cuddly, and (I seriously cannot stress this enough) a complete goofball. She has a massive personality stuffed into that teeny body and watching her continue to develop as her confidence grows is amazing to see. She loves other small dogs (still a bit nervous around bigger dogs but is getting better every day) and gains quite a bit of confidence when other pups are around. In true Min Pin fashion, Magic has lots of energy. She is a great hiking buddy and LOVES the beach. She loves to be outside to sniff, play, and sunbathe - seriously, she might bake herself one of these days. She is also whip-smart, super food motivated, and so fun to train. She would be a great agility or sport dog! We are looking to place Magic in an active and savvy adult home that will love her as she is. She would do best in a quiet or even rural neighborhood where she can fully relax and decompress. We have a strong preference to place her in a multi-dog household with pups who can show her how fun life can be. She is not the right pup for city/apartment living or a family with children. Because Magic is a fearful and sensitive pup, a commitment to her well-being is important in setting her and her potential family up for success. Magic is gonna be an amazing addition to the right family and we are so excited for the rest of her life to begin!
