Semi-Acoustic Band Seeking Fiddle and Bass

Stray Muse is seeking electric bass and fiddle. We are a semi-acoustic eclectic mix of 60’s-70’s folk-rock from US and UK, a dash of originals, traditionals, and modern jazzy/folky tunes. Other players include occasional mandolin, acoustic guitar, female vox, flute, and percussion. Not a bar band, not a “cover” band, we play mellow-leaning listenable reinterpretations of lesser-known songs. We are seeking bass to lead the rhythm, be a strong melodic presence, with edge and depth. Fiddle for underlay and inventive solos. We are all mature, experienced and open-minded players, here for the music. Practice in SF. Website is straymuse.band
