need mechanic - i think it's a starter problem

Hello, Need a mechanic to come look at and fix my car in Culver City/Mar Vista area 2012 Toyota Rav4 I always make sure to take as good of care as possible with my car and get regular repairs, checkups, oil changes, and recently just got it serviced a month ago. But despite that, I seem to be having an explainable issue. It's doing this weird thing where sometimes it won't start. When it happened the first time I ended up having to hire roadside assistance. My battery apparently wasn't the issue, so he then did something to the starter which allowed me to drive home from there. The next day I was able to start it from my home so I drove to a mechanic and explained my situation. They didn't do anything - I guess their attempt to be nice and not take advantage of me insisting that since it was running fine at that moment, best not to mess with it. So it ended up running fine for another couple days but then as I'm leaving work yesterday, it did it again! Wouldn't start. I called a TOW car and needed to wait 2 hours...but about an hour later, I tried starting it again for the heck of it (and did periodically before that), and I was able to start it! So I canceled the tow and went home. Also -maybe it was just in my head and maybe it's not related, but as I was driving on the freeway last night I noticed my engine sounded a little different. So in a nutshell, I don't know anything about cars, but I believe I need a new starter or something, If you think you know what this is and you are a mechanic who is available tomorrow (sooner the better), please let me know if you can come help and what your rate is.
