American Alpine Club - Twin Cities Chapter BIPOC Ice Scholarship
Two BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) specific scholarships will be awarded annually by the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Alpine Club. The scholarships promote alpine education and experience-based learning. Through a partnership with the Michigan Ice Fest, each recipient will attend two full days of ice climbing clinics with world class instructors, with travel and/or accommodations reimbursed as funds allow.
American Alpine Club - Twin Cities Chapter BIPOC Climbing Fund
Focusing on removing barriers for our Minnesota BIPOC climbing community, this general climbing fund is a financial resource for those seeking to further their climbing education and goals by applying funds towards formal instruction, guided adventures, entrance to climbing festivals, or any other potential learning experience. Through furthering each individual's education and climbing experiences, our goal is to empower communities with more role models, representation, and mentors.
