Don't read 'Such a Fun Age' if all you want is a speedy, twisty, page-turner. Sure, it's all those things. But this novel is also a bitingly sharp satire on white privilege, unconscious bias, and the pursuit of wokeness. The writing is equally edgy and cutting. This is an absolute must-read and is our September Afterhour book club pick since there is so much to talk about.
