Handgun 101 is a beginners’ handgun class designed for new handgun owners, or those who have not yet purchased a handgun. Topics include functionality and considerations of revolvers and semi-automatic handguns; proper shooting techniques; carry considerations, and much more. The class ends with time in the range to practice what you've learned. Student should bring pen and paper for notes, one handgun (if you have one - if not, rentals are available) and 50 rounds of ammunition. Low cut shirts and open toed shoes are not advised on the range. Shooters new to the range are required to sign a Range Waiver. This can be done on our website: cypresscreekrange.com or at the beginning of class. When registering, please include your phone number so you can be contacted with updates if needed. Class cost is $60.00. This class is open to the public. Please note that a service charge will be deducted from all refunds.
