Castanea Community Day activities at the Historic Railroad Complex, Logan Avenue, Castanea (Lock Haven). Events include a 5K Run/Walk with Friends of Bald Eagle Valley Trail, Open House at the model railroad display, vendor fair, coffee/donuts/soft pretzel sale by the Lock Haven downtown Rotary Club, historic caboose tours, Clyde Peeling's Reptiland show at the Castanea Fire Co on McElhattan Avenue (just a brief walk from the railroad complex), hamburger/hot dog sale by fire company, Smokey the Bear appearance, dunk tank, and a free classic rock hits concert at the Moose Lodge 100 pavilion on Hanna Street from 6-9 pm featuring the Rock Blasters. The Moose will also offer a hot sausage sale along with limited outdoor cash bar.
