This is Takaani, a 2 year old male husky that we adopted from the san diego humane society (oceanside campus) in march that we are looking to rehome ourselves after deciding we cannot provide the best home for him. We reached out to the shelter and due to a veterinary medical pandemic the shelters are currently unable to take him back as well as any surrenders. He is a happy, healthy, handsome dog, that loves to play and run around; he is great at dog parks, has not been brought to the beach yet but will without a doubt love it, just use the long lead which we will provide with him. He is very loving, and cuddly; however needs a lot of attention and should not be a free roaming dog around the house just yet. He needs time and dedication put into leash training, something professional is recommended for best results, as well as training to be left home alone in the house as he occasionally has accidents when left unattended (even after being walked for a min of 15 mins prior) and tends to howl and cry if left alone in a crate with nobody home. Though, this issue should be quickly solved in a home with a family that can give him the proper attention, training, and routine that unfortunately we are unable to provide. He is healthy and up to date on his shots with vet paper work, and is currently on his 3rd month of Simparica Trio ( we will provide his new home with what we have left for his treatments). We will provide his new home with whatever food we have left (we feed him Purina Pro Plan Active 27/17), a few toys, his Simparica treatments that are left over, a few toys, and his leashes (6ft and 50ft) and collar. We are looking for a $200 rehoming fee to ensure he is going to loving home that is willing to work with him, but we are willing to be flexible for the right family.
