Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Founded in 1995 by veteran drive and motion engineers, Applied Motion Systems, Inc., develops and manufactures precision, multi-axis motion and automation control systems for end-users and OEMs. We are looking for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, who is highly disciplined, willing to learn and become part of our manufacturing team. Responsibilities include: • Receive, inspect and distribute incoming shipments. • Pick, pack and ship customer parts orders using internal ERP and UPS software. • Build crates and pallets for large machine shipments. • Schedule LTL Shipments with freight carriers. • Photograph details of large outbound shipments. • Maintain inventory in an accurate manner, performing cycle counts on a regular basis. • Maintain clean, organized shipping and receiving area • Pickups and deliveries within local area using company vehicle • Safely operate a fork lift (will train and certify) • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • At least six months of recent shipping/receiving and/or inventory control experience • Computer proficient • Experience with safe usage of power hand tools • Clean driving record • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Demonstrated ownership and personal responsibility for customer care • Ability to pass drug screening Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and LTD insurance, 401k plan with employer match and paid time off.
